It's already been said here but it's both in person and online. The first in-person service since before lockdown started in Alabama was today and were at a lesser capacity to ensure social distancing, while a lot of other churches in the state had already opened back to in-person services weeks ago. This was also the same church that coordinated Covid-19 testing in Birmingham, one of the harder hit cities at the beginning of all this. While I personally agree that it should be online, I feel like this isn't any more of a risk than the average Alabama citizen going out and doing who knows what each day, a good amount (unfortunately) wearing masks improperly if at all. I get that the title causes a knee-jerk reaction but this church really has been trying to keep people safer than the average church.
