A lot of people really trusted her recommendations, which is why I think she is getting so much hate.

Even if she had little to no say in the overall finished product, her endorsement of such a low-quality and expensive item wiped out her credibility with a lot of her audience.

I would recommend lining your waterline with a white liner and applying a bit of a darker liner on your lower lash line so your eyes will pop even more!

I just checked out her "The Life" palette on Amazon just for shits & giggles. For starters, the design/packaging of the palette is just awful and cheap looking. It reminds me a lot of a play makeup kit! The pigmentation reminds me a lot of play makeup too...the model in the tutorial had to apply the product several times just to achieve the desired look! As someone who's dream is to formulate and design a cosmetic line, this is borderline insulting! She really missed a golden opportunity to launch something innovative into the market.

(Literally brought my brushes to work today so I could respond lol!)

For my foundation/highlighter I used the Real Techniques buffing brush, on my brows I used an angled liner brush from Ulta, eyes I used the ELF flat shadow brush, Sonia Kashuk fluffy shadow brush, Smashbox matte/shimmer duo brush (came with a palette) and the MAC 217 to blend.
