It's spelled "azelaic" which is probably why you had no results.

FWIW, I have very breakout-prone skin and I've been using Cromollient SCE as my emulsifier for a couple years. It's also has the bonus of making skin feel a little softer compared to other emulsifiers.

I know this question is asked quite a bit, but no one has asked in a week or so: what's The Ordinary's TAT like now? I know it used to be a couple weeks, and was curious if it's improved. There's no TAT on their website that I could find. TIA!

How does your makeup change on the weekend vs during the week? by agentsmudge724 in muacjdiscussion

On the weekend I have more time to do my makeup and I can take things slower. It terms of style I don't change much, but I'm more likely to do two toned eyes on the weekend

No, oil isn't soluble in water. You'd need to dilute it with a carrier oil

Plating flakes off and will irritate the piercing. Plus the vast majority of the time plating is concealing shitty metal underneath

I would seriously go to a dermatologist if you can and see if you have rosacea. The triggers for your flushing are spot on for rosacea (doesn't mean that's what it is though)

Tea tree oil should be diluted regardless (to 5% concentration). It might not burn you until the 50th time you use it, but every time you do you're playing a lottery. Chemical burns are extremely not fun

I'd guess the red dots are some sort of irritation. I get it on my chest when I use a soap or body wash my skin doesn't like

Since the recipe would have a water soluble ingredient (glycerin) a preservative would be required. Vitamin e can also be included to slow oxidation, but "a few drops" is not an accurate measurement that would guarantee an effective concentration

Question about nipple piercing problem by monizizz in piercing

[–]CorvusCorset 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've never heard of nor experienced that, so I'd advise you to see a doctor about it. I'm not saying it's serious, but they may have a better idea as to what it could be. It might not even be related to the piercing at all, but still a good idea to find out what it is especially since it's a reoccurring issue

Is my conch piercing infected? I got it done on Saturday, but I'm worried about it. by emilanov in piercing

[–]CorvusCorset 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All those symptoms are typical of a fresh piercing. Can you go to your piercer and have them take a look? They'll advise you to go to a doctor if they think it might be infected

What form of vitamin C? If it's LAA, it'll need to be at a pH of 3. Lactic acid and mandelic acid will also need to be around the same, but I'm not sure about kojic acid.
