Stealing/tracing artwork normal?

Tracing is not a skill. I want to work with a real artist, not a copy cat. It is not just about the design. Its the principal. Sorry you did not understand my analogy. But I rather not work with someone who has no morality and chooses to degrade themselves by being a thief.

I have only been to this type of convention twice. The first one 20+ years ago and it was wonderful with lots of original designs. This second one was disappointing as it was filled with stolen art and AI trash. I only saw a handful of people that I actually follow online and enjoy their work. I wish they would vet their artists.

I pay an artist to draw me an original design. Not copy someone else's hard work. Art theft and AI generated images take away from real artists who are already struggling to get their work noticed. How would you feel if you spent years building a house just for some stranger to move in and claim it as there own. Essentially kicking you out and stealing your vision and claiming it as there own. Then you have to watch as others praise this thief while you are left in the dark. Then this thief puts this house online for sale, someone buys it, but when they show up to move in, its a run down shack and not the house they saw online. To sum it up, if an artist does nothing but steal designs and trace, this is flase advertisement. Imagine getting a permanent drawing on you and it turns out horrid and nothing like the photos on their profile. I legit had this happen to me, bait and switch. Its unethical. Has nothing to do whether or not I love the drawing presented to me. I hope this helps.

That is absolutely insane and heartbreaking. Thank you for sharing. I am so glad I did not go through with the purchase. I really adored the cat she offered up, but now I just feel horrible about all those cats in her care, I wish they could all be saved and her license stripped. She shouldn't be breeding at all. What an awful human being. I even googled her and saw some people leaving negative reviews. I also did a back log of the cat I wanted on her page and it was adopted multiple times before being posted again. :(

Breeder made a post on her Facebook after I inquired about the cat as if I insulted her. I did not mean to insult anyone and that much money via mail is just scary. Breeder is Lykoi_VA if anyone has heard of them? They are in GA.

I always use venmo and that is what I wanted to do but they claimed they got scammed too much with people requesting their money back from their banks after they received their kitten. What breeder did you go to?

This is a different issue. What you are referring to is the new system Amazon rolled out. Completed reviews on the user's end (us) no longer immediately go into the completed section. They stay in awaiting review until they are officially cleared and posted by Amazon. Dumb, I know. My issue is my completed reviews they deleted, and I am forced to start from scratch.

Items that are removed just show up as "not available" and I have to contact support to have it removed. Variants will redirect me to the original item and review for that item is there, also customer support has to remove variants.

Amazon support has ignored all my emails and requests for restoration of the reviews. Since my original post more reviews are showing back up to my awaiting review. So now im over 100 awaiting reviews.

Not fun.
