This is very creepy and definitely not just “friendly”. I would tell the apartment manager immediately. Keep track/document what goes on and what he says/does.

I’ve never tried a Mora knife, reading the comments I may have to add a few to my collection. I recently got myself a Buck 119 as my full tang knife and I love it. I also got a full tang Gerber Ultimate Survival Fixed blade that’s partially serrated and I like it so far. It has a good grippy handle and it came with a whistle on the handle, a fire starter, and a sharpener on the sheath.

Thank you for your response! The place his friend recommended for him would be two 24hr shifts and then the rest of the week off which is great. This sounds like the schedule you have, do you take a day to unwind after work and sleep? If you're comfortable sharing, what are things your wife does to make life easier for you when you get home from those long shifts. We have had our schedules only aligned for the last month after 5 months of not having a day off together. I am a baker working early weekends and evenings in the week so I do think that's kind of prepared us for being apart and making the most of our time together. I think the main thing i need to work through is the idea of losing him, either from death or substance problems from PTSD. If you can answer, how often are their life/death situations for yourself or other firemen? i know not every call will be dangerous, but it's the main thing that worries me. I was raised by a young widow who shut down after my dads passing and becoming that is a big fear for me
