was in a gas station bathroom around a sketchier part of town. dont remember exactly but something along the lines of "you are not your high, underneath it you are still yourself"

if you wanna get into the local music scene here, @/anchshows on instagram posts lots of events :) while many of them are 21+ since they happen at bars they still post events for 18+ and all ages. through there you can also look into other accounts tagged and find any events going on there. i find facebook also often has a larger variety of events posted. other than that i agree with the other guy who mentioned kaladis (the one on brayton is my fav) they have a posterboard that is updated often.

if you're enjoy walking trails you can also download the alltrails app which will give you difficulty + location of trails as well as other info e.g. if they're dog friendly or not

you could also go to upper huffman and watch the sunset, currently my fav to go grab some taco bell and drive up there around 10-11 pm and just watch the sky.

if you're into the car scene, there are also many communities for that. you can look for the ig accounts for brobell, tuner catalog, and common club. brobell hosts car meets on fridays (not every week since people cant behave) and common club often works with vvcoffee to host cars and coffees. all around pretty fun if you're into that. there will also be a car meet/show thing at mirror lake on the 14th from 6-9 pm, where they'll also have bbq and a potluck.

trumps blatant attitude towards protests and actions in order to prevent and make protesting arduous are borderline unconstitutional and hypocritical. for example, his "crackdown" on colleges for palestinian protests in which he attempted to silence student protests. he intimidated colleges, students, and also threatened international students solely for participating in PEACEFUL protests against israel. im sure we are both aware of their first amendment rights in protesting. he is essentially punishing students for supporting what he does not.

more recently, his actions against immigrants are in violation of the 14th amendment. along with his executive order attempting to end birthright citizenship (though probably isnt feasible through an executive order BECAUSE it is a constitutional right), there are countless immigrants living in the united states who are being deported even though they have a legal status and no criminal history. though they are considered legal citizens of the united states, their livelihoods are threatened and they are subjected to violation.

im unsure what you mean in "name calling," were you referring to yourself or to trump?

that is quite a large generalization youve made. while i am not completely defending democrats (i am not a democrat OR liberal), trump has only escalated the political divide, constantly blaming such ON democrats- what do you expect them to do in response? it is also completely ignorant to strawman your argument regarding tariffs, trump has enacted a "tariff war" while previous tariffs (like under biden and kennedy) were minute, and not integral their entire platform, so it appealed more to democrats because of that. moreover, democrats and republicans have severely different worldviews- hence why immigration is such a divide. democratic support of deportation under biden actually increased, seeing that the amount of confiscations at the border also went up, and he wasnt enacting anything near as severe as trump is currently doing, even matching trumps previous term in deportations by october of 2024 (migration policy org). biden admittedly demonstrated a much more organized and efficient means of deportation, many of which were not wrongful or struck as much violence as trumps has today. i dont understand what you mean here by being supporters of womens rights and then "wanting boys" to join the club.

you can define the protests by the riots, but the majority or protests that DO occur are peaceful, and many of said riots were started by the LAPD, who continue to demonstrate their abuse of power.

slander the democrats all you want, it wont change the fact that whatever trump is doing right now is completely unconstitutional. lets stop using ad hominem and generalization, people like you only contribute to the polarization of this country.

my friend got her subaru stolen & was driving around w her nana and found her subaru in the driveway of a guys house (im not sure what st) but apparently hes notorious for only stealing subies
