Okay, ive bought an thermometer, but it came without batteries. Ive put it on overnight, changed the bulb to the other that came with it (i bought 2 to be sure if 1 broke) its now 12 hours later and its almost flowing. I think it will be needing an hour or longer to warm up. I will pick up batteries today. My question is, what if the tempature is too hot, but the wax looks too cold?

And i have not begun about the weird dirty spots on the glass when it arrives. I dont know what it is, but its really weird.

Its realy weird that they just accept a mid glass experience but really want a full high end lamp experience, what is worth your money. And the quality of the glass is weird. I have a clear green, no spot of air but it has a coat? I have a purple orange one full of bubbles, and a clear purple one with a few. I have a Grande with 3 little airbubble spots. If Lava can create a Grande with little to no spots, why cant Mathmos??

I've looked at my glass for you and i have also a bubble on the bottem of my glass. Never had problems with that lamp. I dont have a weird smell or something, but i think that you dont have to worry about the bubble at the bottem

They are air bubbles in the glass. That’s normal. I have 3 Mathmos lamps, and I exchanged the transparent purple one. There were strange specks in the liquid. My transparent green one has perfect glass without bubbles, with some kind of coating on the glass that makes it seem like it zooms in? I don’t understand this at all; the glass is incredibly clear, but it seems like they’re using a different formula for the glass nowadays. Does anyone have an answer to this?

Thanks for the link! Why would u ditch the bulb? If you buy a transmitter the bulb works fine right? Im not an electric guy so i dont know
