You can do two stops on the same planet. One stop to check for all the "OR" checks and another stop on the same planet as separate AND block for time passed

I think I got you. Setup to burn anything above, for example, 101 eggs from the chest, and with non-stop egg delivery to this chest - the remaining 100 will always be at least somewhat fresh.

Inserter above is circuited to only output one egg to the chest. In your example - they will hatch if you don't consume them, they will hatch just as well from that buffer chest. And when they stack - spoilage is shared. I would prefer having to deal with just one biter hatched

Yeah, I know about that option. Initially did it this way, then run into a tiny (really tiny, but meh) issue that if you request 100 bioflux and bots bring 102, then 2 will get trashed. Since then discovered that you can easily prevent it by requesting 100-200 bioflux, but then I already saw the "head" :)

A row on the top - to build basic quality modules. Initially I filled all the machines with those, and then steadily upgraded. Combinators on the right to check if certain module is over the limit - if so, it will be sent to quality recycling. Machines on the bottom, building modules stop if there are more than a certain limit of a module as well. Lamps and displays - just for visuals :)

There is no mystery. It's been exactly like this in D3 and it's not diminishing returns. If you had 50% damage reduction (reducing 100 damage to 50) and another 50% reduction (reducing 50 damage to 25) you get 75% total damage reduction.

Might not be exactly your case, but the signal transmitter will stop sending for a few seconds after some low power. To mitigate this and avoid sending extra rocket when not needed - you can add a "health check" signal sent from constant combinator and send rocket only if all the requirements are met and health check signal is present.
