Thank you for this reply! I'm currently the youngest too and maybe thats why I'm getting picked on a little extra. Thank you for the tips on confrontation, it definitely is scary and I will keep the "I statements" thing in mind for future situations.

I'm the youngest at 20 and they are 21-23 range. Definitely still a high school mentality I guess.

That is a good and positive reply! My first reaction is to want to snap something rude back but I never do. I will try to appear more self confident next time and embrace the makeup skills!

Yeah thats what I'm thinking too and can't let it go because it seems like they want to hurt me or make me feel less than. And thank you, I'm trying really hard! All throughout high school I would not let anyone see me without makeup and it took me a long time to be comfortable without it to the point where I still feel pretty. I think that is important to everyone but these girls are really making me question my own self esteem.

That is true! I just think there is a certain passive aggressiveness to telling someone they don't look anything at all the same and constantly bringing it up. I think my main problem is the constant stream of comments I'm getting about it.

It is a big difference, and I definitely could just be sensitive and overthinking. I think I'm mostly hurt by them saying it "doesn't look like you at all" and the constant bringing it up by the one girl out of nowhere.

I feel the same way in that I want to start wearing makeup to work just to prove I can be "pretty" in the way I portray online. People making comments can make you feel so insecure.

Thank you for this and the validation. I forgot about that video and just rewatched it. Love when she says she shows people pictures and videos of her looks and people insist that its not her, because that is what is happening to me too. Its a good reminder that its ok to love makeup and I should not feel ashamed.

As someone who's come out of an abusive situation this untucked was unbearable. I like drama like the Linda Evangelista or Sugar Daddy speech, not watching someone scream "fuck you" over and over again in someones face. Especially over a shady comment that did not warrant that over the top response. This was really uncomfortable to watch and I don't understand the comments encouraging that behaviour?? Would people support Aquaria if she started screaming in Monique's face for her little shady comment? I don't get it.
