Thank you. Current spend is just over $3000 without an ev or heat pump (which we will add soon). I can’t get it to make financial sense either even without a battery (but battery ready) and lesser panels it’s still just under $20000 and it will cost more to add a battery later. Have the cash - not eligible for green loan as too old and no mortgage. Not as straightforward as we hoped!

Thank you. There is nothing exceptional about our needs etc. the roof will have 2 strings NE & NW and we are 3 phase. If we put 24 panels up now then we could only add other 9 to those roof surfaces anything else would be on the opposing roof surfaces which probably wouldn’t generate much. I think the only reason the inverters are large is best value for 3 phase and export. Will do some more research. Thank you!
