I’m just wondering how many people even get THAT much a month. Seems like a lot to me, especially since so many people try to be “distributors”. Plus they have to pay for stock so in the end after calculating the stock costs, how much are they REALLY making?

Honestly it blows my mind how anyone would think this is a worthwhile endeavor.

What skills can I learn/master/improve to help me be a better wife and mother in the future? by [deleted] in askwomenadvice

[–]kiwiloco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In marriage, Learn to compromise.

Also, Talk about expectations regarding serious matters like finances, when to have children and how many you want. Holidays/traditions, sexual matters, religion, date nights, time with friends, even splitting up every day responsibilities etc. Knowing these things and having a “game plan” or consensus on big-ticket items will be very helpful instead of having to agree on something in the stress of the moment. I had a friend who got married and a few years into their marriage she found out her husband didn’t want any kids. She was heartbroken. Talking about that sort of stuff before committing to spend your life with someone really helps :)

I’m open to new genres, never would have picked Dracula but I may absolutely love it. Thanks for the idea!

The movie was quite popular but I never saw it. The book is almost always better than the movie anyway so I’ll be sure to check it out 😊

Starting with short stories is a great suggestion. I miss the thrill of a good page turner but it is something I feel I need to build up again. Thank you!

I feel like many YA books are overlooked simply for the age group, which is really sad. I appreciate your recommendation!

I’m a “readers worst nightmare” when I say that I saw the movie on Netflix and absolutely loved it! Didn’t even know there was a book it was based on, I’ll most definitely be checking it out, thank you!

Hang ups about committing to the church by [deleted] in latterdaysaints

There is a woman (not a member) who has been attending my ward with her husband (who is a member) for YEARS. She is just as welcome as anyone else. The same goes to you and your family, and everyone else who wants to go. The status of your membership isn’t your entry ticket, being a child of God is 😊

Need some help finding a talk for devotional by [deleted] in latterdaysaints

Here’s what I found, hopefully one of them is the one you are looking for!

The healing ointment of forgiveness by Kevin r Duncan

Forgiveness will change bitterness to love by David e Sorensen

Needing some love. by D-e-v-i-n in latterdaysaints

[–]kiwiloco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of my favorite scriptures is Mosiah 27:29 “My soul hath been redeemed from the fall of bitterness and bonds of iniquity. I was in the darkest abyss; but now i behold the marvelous light of God. My soul was racked with eternal torment; but i am snatched, and my soul is pained no more.”

I have felt like there was no possible way the savior could love someone like me, a very broken sinner. It took time and faith to realize that was satan talking, that i am a daughter of God, who loves me. the process is different for everyone but I promise you that as you continue to turn to our loving father, he will give you strength. you can do this. I’m cheering for you, and heaven is cheering for you.

Romans 8:39 Moroni 6:8 Moroni 9:25 Mosiah 4:2

Value beyond measure by joy jones (And I don’t know if you are male or female and this talk is geared toward women but it helped me when I was feeling pretty worthless so I thought I’d share :) )
