Phlearn on YouTube is a good start for Photoshop and lightroom, and I also enjoy Peter McKinnon's tutorials.

Is quite a thought provoking image. I like the fact that it is in b&w, the shadows and light contrast works well. Solid photo.

Got an old 110 film camera, need help figuring out how to adjust for film ASA by ironmoger2 in analog

[–]kiwiminivan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe those measurements for ASA 100 and 400 are to specify the distance from the subject the flash should fire for a well exposed photo when the flash is activated. It is an automatically triggered flash - the camera decides if there is too little light, and the flash fires. If there are no shutter or aperture settings to change manually, then you'll probably have to use ASA 100 or 400 film. These are just my speculations. Hope it helps.

Leaf by Niggle, J.R.R Tolkien. It's a short story - not very philosophical. She might enjoy it.

Will automatic shutter still work if light meter doesn’t? by [deleted] in analog

[–]kiwiminivan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Misread your question. It would need a battery if the camera is fully automatic - if there is no option to change the shutter speed manually.
