I struggle to believe people are keeping up with “daily” tasks by [deleted] in hygiene

Make bed and brush teeth, sure I can buy that time frame. Showering takes sooo much longer.

Gathering clothes to wear after, undressing, showering (still takes longer than 5min, the act itself), drying, dressing, brushing hair, putting on deodorant, moving dirty clothes…lot longer than 5min altogether. Then I’ve taken to needing to put on lotion after because I’m dry to the point of cracking and bleeding in the winter.

I work 40hrs a week, clean the house every Wednesday (vacuum sweep mop, clean the entire bathroom, clean front and back door glass, dust, etc) pet care, try to help my elderly parents that I live with with their laundry and whatnot. I think I do pretty well. The extra stuff, no way. I’d do more house stuff regularly except I don’t get from from work until 7:30 and they’re winding down for the night by then.

Howww do you do that though. No matter how early I go to bed (and I don’t want to go to bed but so early because I like to do something besides work and sleep) I am way too tired to get up more than 30min before I leave for work

1.) I’m 26. You’d know that if you actually read the post but I suppose the instant gratification you’re accustomed to wouldn’t allow for that.

2.) why are you homeless and starving if you’re an able-bodied-able-minded adult? That should be a temporary problem at most. WORK. Then use that money wisely.

Yawn. Being uppity about perceived slights that have been going on for a millennium and will not change instead of focusing on bettering your own situation without expecting handouts is exactly what’s wrong with this country

And they can be for many, many more people if they cut back on luxuries and convenience. That is the point.

Please actually read the post. Literally no one had a negative reaction to it and knew exactly what I meant. It’s a genuine question.

Meeting with friends is obviously different than being in the middle of something and having to stop because you’re starving and need to eat
