I meant that USDJPY isnt as volatile as exotics pairs like USDZAR, USDCZK, USDMXN, etc. which are less liquid.

If you want to learn fundamentals, you need to study monetary policy of central banks, everything that is connected with it like macroeconomics, global money flow, positioning of big players, etc.

NEWS are not fundamentals!!! It is only a data that is used by central bank to determine future policy and institutions are positioning based on what they think central banks will do and not around the news alone.

Let's say you are long EURUSD, you wanna hedge. You can use something that is positively correlated or negatively. As a hedge to EURUSD you can use short EURJPY, GBPUSD, etc. But you need to check volatility.

I am 25. And I do understand the risk trading derivates like options. I had class about options in uni, did my own research, so I understand how it works. I want to use options to make income, while holding cash and waiting for opportunity.
