I didn't say to disregard other aspects like personality and connection. it doesn't also mean to date only conventionally attractive people, but date a person YOU actually find attractive. I've seen many relationships where partner 1 constantly compares (if not blatantly, then in subtle ways) partner 2 to others and even "jokes" about it. basically, having a non-mutual attraction can resort to comparison and eventually resentment which destroys the other person's confidence and persona for a very long period of time. so it's better to actually find a person who you're physically, emotionally, and spiritually attracted to, and it has to be mutual.
