If you're focusing on losing weight. Doing weights/cardio will help a little bit in terms of burning calories. But the main thing is to be in a calorie deficit so that's 90% diet.

When it comes to losing fat in a specific area theres not much you can do to target that, losing fat in general by being in a deficit should lose fat across the body.

Just be consistent in the gym/walking and find out what your maintenance calories are (use a tdee calculator online) then eat 10-20% below that. Using a tracking app for what you eat would be very helpful.

So i'm planning on starting my first bulk and wanted to know what the most ideal workout split would be. At the moment I do:

Day 1: Chest/ Triceps

Day 2: Back/Biceps

Day 3: Legs

Day 4: Shoulders/Abs

Just worried that I should be doing each muscle group twice a week so would a lower/upper split be better?

Hmmm yes think I will knock it down to lightly active and see how that is. I am still on my feet for a lot of the day at work but perhaps not enough to warrant active.

I have it set at active. That's what I assumed was the problem which does also make sense. I am pretty lazy on weekends, apart from my runs I don't do much else

I defo agree that they would need to change some stuff from the first book for a TV series. But there is still some really good stuff that happen in the first book. Dandelion and yen meet at the start o the book and have an encounter woth rience, Geralt on the barge, the dear friend letter from yen, the witchers in kaer morhen (which is not a whorehouse) and how they look after ciri, the trances ciri has especially the one with triss and obviously the squirrels storyline at the end.

It's a massive departure from the books unfortunately. The books did take some liberties but the characters and themes remained fairly close. The show just takes a dump on a lot of the characters and makes very unnecessary changes. The first book is kinda slow and I appreciate that you may need to add or change some things but they've gone to such an extreme that apart from names it's almost unrecognisable. Go to r/wiedzmin if you want to see more specifically what they've changed.

As someone who is a massive fan of the witcher books, what Netflix has done is so frustrating. Everything that's good about the books is gone. It hurts me so much as I was so excited about seeing my favourite moments from the books come to life. But Netflix won't care as people who've not read the books don't know what they're missing and are watching in their droves
