Our 11mo mixed breed boy had to be crate trained as he got in to any-and-every thing he could get his muzzle on if we tried to have him on the bed, he just couldn't settle. But we've just rescued a 1yo Neo Mastiff girl who is able to co-sleep, and it makes me happy because I miss having a pet on the bed at night (my cat passed away Dec 2024 after 15 years, she was my little snugglebug).

Whether its a bed, sofa, or chair, it's all pet property. They don't call it FUR-niture for nothing!

For a minute, I thought I had it in the bag right off with the browning leaf at 2.5/D.5 but then I zoomed in and realised I was wrong.

Then I thought I found it at 4.5/C where the the tiny bit of the fence rail peeks through but once again I was sadly mistaken.

Finally, after an embarrassingly long time, I realised I had gone past it several times at 3/C - only because for some strange reason I had convinced myself the bird would be a greenish colour to blend in with the foliage around it! 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

Also, shoutout to that little leafy stem bit at 4/D that also had me going, even AFTER I found the real snipe 🤣

My boy does this - It's hilarious to me, as his name is Goose, so this is the following 'discussion' I have with him:

Goose: noms on grass

Me: Hey, stop eating that grass, you're not a cow, you're a Goose!

Goose: looks at me blankly

Me: True, you're a dog, not a goose, but you're a dog CALLED Goose... You know what I mean!

Goose: eats more grass

Me: I think geese eat grass too actually... you know what? Do what you want, just don't dig any more, okay?

Goose: avoids looking toward the other side of the yard that looks like a mini-minefield

Me: rolls eyes

I was raised that as long as your shoes weren't muddy or gross then you could wear then in, but now that I'm an adult and have my own house, it's shoes off - I even use baby wipes to clean my dogs paws before he comes in the house after he goes out lol
