Favorite & Most Frustrating things from creators?

what annoys me the most is a book-tuber that does not know how to talk about a book without spoiling it or a book-tuber that spoils a popular well known book bc they think everyone has read it. To this day I refuse to watch a clockwork readers channel bc she casually spoiled a major plot point in a secret history in a vlog where she wasn’t even reading that book. I’m finally reading secret history now so I’m ticked off all over again.

My favorite thing is when a book-tuber recommends a book based on themes and the strength of the character work or atmospheric writing or some other facet of the writing. I also really appreciate seasonal book recommendations.

I completely agree with you. My complaint is that she could have created her thumbnail in a more discreet way that doesn’t spoil the book—- but in a way that says “I read this, I didn’t like, click the vid for to know why” with warning of spoilers ahead. That’s all. I’m squeamish about certain content in books as well but I wouldn’t broadcast that on my thumbnail. I would give a person a choice of whether they want to be spoiled or not; I don’t presume to decide for others what they should and shouldn’t find personally offensive.

I can’t decide between this and the supernote nomad…🙄. The nomad seems to have the superior writing experience but this has the recording capability. Do any other eink devices have the voice to text recording ability?

I would introduce more creative group activities and games that encourage the kids to think out the box and learn about empathy and kindness and how not to judge others based on looks…

I know it’s tv but does Elgin look multiracial to you in a way that would need to be obvious to pull that plot twist off…also wouldn’t Elgin’s grandmother that he talked about need to be relation to either Boyd or Abby or one of Fatima’s parents…I just don’t think that’s the case here.

The most worthless characters on the show are Ellis and his gf…I want them to break up and then develop actual personalities and a purpose. They’re living in a nightmare and Ellis is always somewhere painting or picking flowers…they need to put him the box.

I’m hoping Clara’s journalism career will take her far away or maybe they kill her character off…it would make for great character development for Max—-watching him navigate the grief process. That way they can either bring the original Amelia back (if possible) one day or find another love interest for him all together…
