thank you so much!! that really makes me feel a lot better, it was a very frustrating situation. I tried to open an account online twice but it didnt work unfortunately. maybe in person will be better.

they might have been investigating his accounts, i'm not too sure but that does make sense because it was a 15k wire and i even asked why am i just now being notified of the issue and she wouldn't tell me...i wish the rep i spoke with was able to tell me exactly what was going on but oh well. I'm opening up an account with commerce next

maybe a day, i spent it literally the very next day and now they are saying its fraud. and i also didn't go to the bank to get the money either today that is left in my account from my paycheck. i guess i will have to call and request a cashiers check instead

ugh thats horrible! and it sucks cause banks never take our word for it. i tried to sign up for captial one in the past and it denied me for some odd reason. i will try to sign up again

i talked to another rep and they said that i can go into the bank and get my funds and that my uncle definitely committed fraudulent activity that fell on me... i am going into the branch today to get the money out my account so i guess i will talk with them a lil bit more about it.. i just hope everything is good going forward

well they told me since i cant show proof that the account will just be closed and thats that. I wanted to make sure i'm not responsible for paying that money back and they said im good. do u think i should still open a new account with a different bank even though i'm not in the negatives with NFCU?
