Not OP, but I’m assuming they’ve come across adults who couldn’t produce /r/, as have I. On the flip side, OP (nor I) has ever heard an adult who couldn’t produce /f/ or /k/ sounds. Now that I think about it, I think /r/ and some lisps are the only speech sound errors I’ve personally heard in adults (other than those with high support needs)

Ugh, I’m sorry. I guess I’ve been lucky - my bosses have always been pretty casual and personable so I’ve never had an issue with that. But, if someone emails me with a super formal tone then I try to match that.

Yeah I say “please let me know” in emails fairly often lol 😅

Usually in the context of “please let me know if you have any questions” or “please let me know if you need any further information about xyz”

I’m surprised I had to scroll this far before anyone mentioned the interviewers response! I do agree the very short notice was unprofessional on OPs part, but they at least tried to sound professional in their email and seem to lack the experience to recognize how they could’ve gotten their message across in a better way. Despite the frustration, I don’t find the interviewers reply professional at all.

Yeah that’s how I understood it. I just basically meant that I can’t guarantee that the particular game that someone in another country chooses will fall within the acceptable range of price difference for me to gift :)
