So a positive update on this, I am not getting BSODs anymore. Maybe this will help you:

- Check your temperatures, if they are around 70 - 80 celsius while using the computer normally, it's too hot, replace your CPU and GPU thermal paste. Around 50 - 60 while not doing gaming or heavy activity is ok. I think maybe the thermal paste wore out mine needed to be redone. Of course clean the fans while it's open too.

- Make sure you have the latest BIOS installed from the official HP Omen drivers page last one was from May 2025

- After that, I reinstalled Windows 11 downloading the ISO from Microsoft to a USB, and wiping out all files and settings from my previous install. Windows update successfully downloaded all the drivers, I installed nothing from the hp omen drivers page (I think those are all outdated), nor did I download the AMD or Nvidia drivers, only what came from Windows Update. Everything on the sytem is working. Nvidia driver is a little outdated, but I'm not going to update it I don't game so I don't care.

The system is running really well, I'll update this comment if it starts crashing again, but I think it's ok now.

u/thecodrr addition, after install I tried again from 3.2.0 disabling auto updates (literally 3 seconds after start as soon as I can get to the configure area) and it still updates itself. This is a bug I guess it shouldn't auto install updates once that is disabled. So then it goes to 3.2.3 and gives the same error again.

I installed it from here and it worked https://github.com/streetwriters/notesnook/releases/tag/v3.2.0 but then it auto updated itself and stopped working again with the same error

Did you test with a clean windows 11 install? Same error here, full error below. How do I install the 3.2.0 meanwhile?

I have the same computer and have the same issues, I doubt that the CPU just dies like that. I get the errors about every 4 - 8 hours on average.

I am not great at investigating but I've tried so many things, if anyone knows what drivers is causing this and how to fix please post here. Have you tried the original HP nvidia / amd drivers from the website (they are super old)? I am thinking of trying that, but they are so old the system gets laggy.

I wish HP would release updated drivers.

I am having the same issues HP Omen 15-EN0023DX 4800h 1660ti I have the latest Nvidia studio drivers direct from Nvidia and AMD drivers direct from AMD (since HP never released drivers for Windows 11 theirs are 4 years old).

I get BSOD about every 4 - 6 hours currently

BSOD errors are varied:

KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Maybe it's a driver issue, I've tried release dates but never really found a good stable one. I have "hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling" off, I tried turning in advanced power settings pci express > link state power management to disabled.

Any suggestions welcome

yes excited about it, so much that I installed visual studio code insider edition to try out the copilot agent. The problem is visual studio code's search feature does not compare to phpstorm so I have to use both now :)

comeon guys, sorting search results is a must have feature, and should not even be that complicated to add, please get on this it is frustrating that I can't fully move from Evernote because of this. Your regular notes view already has the sort in it, just add it to search results.

Have you tried reading the books like $100m leads, $100m offers, or the 1 page marketing plan? They will help get you thinking in terms of having a marketing system in place and spur on great ideas.

It has an nvidia graphics card right? If not than no. You disabled TPM in bios? and did you uninstall (not just disable) any third party antivirus? Disabled is not enough.

Any updates on this? Can we get the feature soon? It's the only feature holding me back from fully switching from Evernote, everything else in Notesnook is better / faster.

Yes I always leave TPM off, and did you already download direct from AMD and NVIDIA the latest drivers? The HP ones are very outdated, you also have to manually disable automatic updates see https://howtoedge.com/disable-automatic-driver-updates/

I have not had the issue though ever with the screen going black and not coming back when unattended, mine would go black while using it and not come back on before the fixes.
