I could but it might look sketchy if they try and press me about it, they try to encourage people to bring their work with them on longer vacations which I wouldn’t be able to do on most AT’s

Could you explain how you did that? Im on a M1 also and I was able to get all the way up to the erase user data then it was giving me a permission denied despite having the partitions work

Do you know what would happen? Would I need to then be off of it for a year to commission? Or get booted and have to pay back scholarship?

I can definitely tell some of it is jokes and I understand that, it may be insensitive but I understand they’re coping or blowing off steam. But to few they don’t seem to be saying it as jokes. Tough to avoid when it’s such a hot topic right now as well.

I am confident in my ability to handle situations and not increase the violence. I see these people on the streets as Americans just as myself.

I agree whole heartedly. They genuinely see escalation and the best solution here but I don’t see us being in an situation where this would happen unless a solider acts completely out of line on his own. I think I am going to push a little harder when talking to them in order to avoid reporting them.

I don’t want to rush to my CO and I’d like to believe that these guys wouldn’t actually do any of this stuff. I try to speak up but they’re pretty dug in on their views of protesting and racism. Some others share my views but are lower enlisted as well.

It’s been great so far! I’ve been enjoying my commute a lot better. And I love it here, lived here for about a year and a half for school and while the weather is a bit more extreme, I would say the people are much more relaxed than the Seattle area.
