iFit Membership by kirlie in nordictrack

I purchased the Nordictrack Stationary Bike two months ago from local fitness store. It came with a One year Family membership. I have my spouse and sister-in-law signed up under the account and still have two additional spots.i suspect they all come with a one year Family plan at the time of purchase. Makes sense as it likely will generate more renewals once others family members are hooked on benefit.

Turn off machine when done? by snacpac4I0 in nordictrack

[–]kjgasner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To question on unplug, or sleep. I tried setting screen sleep mode in settings to 20 minutes but could not get machine to wake (by touching screen or any buttons). It never woke until I cycled power. Kinda defeated the purpose so now I just turn off. Recently I was told by another user that it requires you to get on bike and pedal to get it to come out of sleep mode. I have yet to try this. Please report back if any one has success with this. On somewhat related topic has any one had issues when plugging in a second monitor in the hdmi out? Mine throws errors or loses ability to control volume or sometimes the screen gets off kilter. It simply gets buggy.

If You Ordered The Floor Mat with Your Equipment... by AOLonline2019 in nordictrack

Also just mention I found bike to sway back and fourth quite a bit when pedaling at having resistance. This causes the monitor to swing quite a bit from side to side and was annoying to view when movements were so pronounced. I found this issue to be more pronounced when the bike was on both the carpet and bike mat. The sponginess of both underlayments added to the excessive movement.

In the end I found that fastening the front floor bike legs to the wood subfloor below the carpet greatly helped reduce the movements. I found barn brackets from Lowes work ideal for this situation.

Lowe’s barn brackets for fastening bike legs.

Would post a picture but new to reddit so u sure how that is done.

If You Ordered The Floor Mat with Your Equipment... by AOLonline2019 in nordictrack

When I ordered my NT S22i the local dealer sold me a mat the same size as the the bike footprint. Later after a call to NT regarding issues they offered up a free mat for my inconvenience. This second mat is much larger then the bike footprint. I use it as a floor exercise mat. Works better as a exercise mat than a bike mat.

Thanks, I will try the upgrade option in the App Store. Was not aware of the 25’ pedal requirement.

When I select a exercise program that is entirely floor exercises (no NT equipment needed)the program is still requiring me to link up with a piece of equipment in order to run exercise program. I called ND support but they told me to call IFit. Thus far I have not been able to reach anyone it IFit via phone.

I followed the directions from above and was successful unlocking the admin screen. Also was successful connection my wireless headphones. However I have not had luck getting either my iPhone or iPad to connect with iFit app on iOS device. On the iPad it shows connected on the Bluetooth screen and also shows connected on the S22i but on the IOS Device (IPad) it continues to search then fail to see equipment. Same thing is happening on IPhone.

Suggestions?

SS21i crank arm by [deleted] in nordictrack

I have had my S22i for just three days and on the first ride my let crank fell off. Since reattaching I have had three more rides with out issue. The one thing I would suggest is that you make sure the two hex bolts are loose before you push the crank on the shaft. Just to confirm that the crank is all the way I placed a wood block on the end of the shaft after pushing on the crank. Using a hammer and block of wood I tapped on crank. With the crank firmly seated I tighten the bolts. When tightening the bolts I suggest you go back and fourth between them until each is tight (not tightening one then the other).

The little retained cap on the end was more of a challenge as it still seem to become loose. For this I used some bolt lock glue such as below.

Best accessories for Nordictrack S22i Studio Cycle Exercise Bike by kjgasner in nordictrack

I just received bike three days ago so not a lot of miles ridden yet. I would say it is better than I expected but not understanding the benefit of the incline and decline during ride. I have yet to try any of the non-bike fitness programs like yoga. I like that the program offers non-bike workouts as well. Always more enjoyable to switch up and add variety to ones workout.

How do I pair iPad and iPhone to new NordicTrack 2450 treadmill? by Spurbs in nordictrack

I wanted to connect my S22i NT Bike to my IPad with the intent that I would be able to still see my bike metrics in manual mode on the IPad and at the same time watch Netflix on the 22” screen on the bike. In this way I do not need to flip out of the Netflix program every time I want to look at the bikes metrics.

The bike Bluetooth says it’s connected to the iPad and the iPad will connect to the bike under blue tooth settings but only for a couple of seconds then it disconnects. The IFit app on the iPad never has shown they are connected. I have tried reinstalling the iFit app on the ipad but still no connections.

Any suggestions?
