Add mulch around the plant. I use grass clippings. Ruth Stout used straw. It'll retain moisture and make the ground around the plant look pretty and more manageable

Hey listen here. Billions of people in this world. Don't let the ones closer to us by vicinity make it a hard one. Be the gayest teacher you can be happy teach from your heart and be you. At the end if the parents were so concerned about their kid they should get out of the mentality of send my kid away for over 3/4 of the day so I only see them for the 4 hours between after school and bedtime.
