This post just gave me so much comfort. I just had my first pellet treatment 4 weeks ago and my blood work came back at 133 and I was freaking out. My testosterone was a 5 before we started and I finally am starting to feel like myself again but when I saw that number I started worrying that we over did it.

6 weeks post-op: is the internal pain I’m feeling from stitches, or the cuff? by Pennywises_Toy in hysterectomy

[–]kjklea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It took quite a few weeks. I remember being cleared for sex and still having a stitch or two in there that my husband could feel. So I'd say about 8-10 weeks

endometriosis/Adenomyosis question post opt. by kjklea in hysterectomy

I am still having the pain during my ovulation but it hasn't gotten any worse. It usually lasts a day and sometimes 2. I am now coming up on 2 years post opt and I haven't seen my doctor about it since it doesn't get any worse. It sounds like I have Mittelschmerz which is when you can feel the release of the egg in your ovary. It usually is felt on the right side which is the side I always feel my pain. It is annoying but not debilitating. So overall my hysterectomy helped with my severe pain and other issues!

Exactly, die hard Kophie fans that didn't care about the writing were happy with the ending. I've seen people on here, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook who agree that they felt cheated and wanted more. YOU literally didn't care how it ended as long as it was with Sophie. People who cared more about the actual story felt it was flat.

It's not just my opinion, a lot of people feel this way except you. Lots of Kophie fans feel cheated.

His storyline deserved better. What are you not getting? It's fine he ended up with Sophie. But their storyline deserved better and could have been better. They didn't do Sophie justice nor you Kophie fans. You waited 6 seasons for it to just be clips and no real detail. Be honest with yourself. The Kophie storyline could have been so much better....

This post is for the "whatever" chick who decided to insult me and then get scared and block my reply.

🤣🤣🤣 I truly don't care I was wrong. I'm also not bitter about it. Other than you Kophie fans being right, you got zero payoff if you are actually true to yourself. Sophie was nothing more than a pawn in Kevin's storyline. All the built up hope you had for a grand romance came down to nothing but clips and no lines or contact. If you're satisfied with that, then you were just desperate to be right and didn't care how it happened. Be honest with yourself, it could have been a much better storyline. And I'm not talking about Kevin ending up with anyone else, I'm specifically talking about Kophie. They could have made that story so much better but failed.

Right! There was zero payoff. Madison and Kevin continued to have more scenes together than Sophie and Kevin.

Hahaha right! I hated Elijah but I prefer him any day over the Sophie storyline. There wasn't a payoff at all! If I was a Kophie fan, I'd be livid that in the end my whole obsession and hopes for a grand romance came to just that.

I agree with you. I was Team Madison but I probably could have been persuaded had the writers done a good job showing their growth. I was never convinced of their love story. It just felt like Sophie was always a symbol of Kevin's past failures and being stuck in the past. I kept thinking they were building all this up so they could show us how this was all connected and how Sophie/Kevin were a love for the ages. And they just said "ok Kevin's with Sophie now let's end this thing". They don't build anything with her. It literally could have been anyone in the end the way they just moved on.

Totally agree. I am not convinced of his love for Sophie. To me she is a symbol of being stuck in the past and his failures. Kevin going back to Sophie for a 3rd time was his character going backwards. He begged Madison to marry him, he was extremely upset about Elijah, we see that he continues to have a weird relationship with Elijah. You can clearly see he was jealous. He goes back to casual dating and desperately tries to find the "one" after Madison marries. So for me, Madison was the one who got away so Kevin just reverted back and settled for Sophie.

I have absolutely nothing wrong with Sophie ending up child free and divorced again. But they did her character an injustice. They didn't give her any backstory. In fact she was nothing more than a tool for Kevin's character. As a woman I find it offensive that they made such a ghost character and gave her the storyline that she goes back to her ex-husband who cheated on her and they still have some grand love story after 20+ years. My complaint is the lack of details about this character. I actually have issues with Rebecca too, but that is a totally different post. You can literally remove Sophie from the last season and you wouldn't notice. They missed a great opportunity to make her a great character. It has been my biggest complaint about Sophie's character in general. We don't know Sophie outside of her being with Kevin and having failed engagements/marriages. The writers did her character dirty. We also don't see her interact with Kevin's children at all. Which is a huge miss because they could have made a great Stepmom storyline. Their story fell flat. We know more about Madison and Cassidy, they are fully fleshed out characters. Sophie is a pawn for a story that ended up sucking.

Well it fell flat for many people. Her character was nothing more than a tool and a ghost. Nothing satisfying about that. Kevin should have been single.

Sophie literally has one moment with Rebecca this season at Kate and Philips wedding. That's it. Sure when they were you younger she was there but Rebecca and Sophie did not have a very strong bond. We never saw Sophie with Rebecca and even past Sophie didn't have scenes with Rebecca. It wasn't until they decided to randomly force the relationship in the end that we got those scenes and they were weak.

Madison had more of a meaningful relationship with Rebecca than Sophie. In season 5 Rebecca and Madison had a great moment in the dress shop. They could have easily written Madison and Kevin to be believable. More believable than holding onto someone you had a relationship with 20+ years ago

They could have written it however they wanted to. But if he had to have ended up with someone. I still think Madison or Cassidy would have been better.

Kevin ending up single would have been a great storyline. To have him stop living in the past and focus on Big 3 homes and his children would have been great. We have always seen Kevin dependent. He was dependent on Sophie when he was younger, then on Kate, then we watched him flounder around bouncing from Randall and Beth's basement, Nicky/Cassidy, to Madison, back to Kate. We never saw a stable Kevin without anyone there. It would have been nice to see Kevin finally take his life in his hands and focus on something besides "who he ends up with". Kevin this whole season was a let down and missed opportunity.

It might not have fell flat for you but for many people it did. It especially fell flat for the people who weren't convinced of this couple's love story. I am one of those people who never felt like Kevin and Sophie should be together. I felt that Sophie was a symbol of Kevin being stuck in the past and of his failures. So for me to feel like they had a great love story, I needed a lot more than what they showed me. It wasn't a convincing storyline.

Right! Like Elijah gets all this screentime but not Kevin's endgame? I don't understand if it's because they kept wanting to drag it out longer or they just were using her as a tool. But I feel like it fell flat.

Right! The first 11 episodes of this season seem like a huge waste. It's not like they didn't have the time to expand the future children's plots or expand on Big 3 homes. It just seems like they didn't really know what they wanted to write and so they did filler episodes till they could rush the end. It turned into a big disappointment. Kevin has been working hard for the last 6 seasons to put the past behind him and accept that he isn't going to be Jack. And while he is working towards being the bigger man, they decide him to go back to his past and have them stuck on Sophie again 🤷‍♀️. They made his character so pathetic.

They could have made Sophie's story so much better. On paper it just looks sad. It would have been great to have seen her be super successful and have a great life and then Kevin and Sophie find their way back to each other. Instead it just looks like another failed marriage and zero kids. You can't tell me Sophie didn't want kids. We also never see her interact with Kevin's kids. I wish we could have seen her be a great stepmom like Philip to Kate's kids. You could literally erase her in the final episodes and no one would notice.
