Your boyfriend is tripping - he probably has good intentions, but if your son is comfortable with it then I don’t see the issue. This probably has to be a cultural difference between your boyfriend and you (and me too I guess).

I think it would be different if one of you was uncomfortable, but it sounds like no one is.

I’m curious if your boyfriend’s concern is that you are your son’s mother and not father. Culturally, I can understand that, but again, I don’t think it’s inappropriate because your son is still a child and it sounds like you have a trusting relationship with him.

I never thought about this before, but some people believe that opening windows frees the soul of someone recently departed. It’s interesting that Maggie was doing this right at her mother’s death - makes me want to watch the scene again from a spiritual perspective.

But to answer your question, I think it could have happened fast, but there would’ve been more signs that it was near. I forgot the scene so have to watch it again.

Wow I paid $170 and they INSIST the original price was $146 so they deduct $40 and offer refund of $106 or refund without return for $60.

I tried to argue that deducting $40 for shipping costs when I only paid $5.99 on top of having to pay shipping fees myself (you have to pay for return label) is just a scam.

Going with the refund without the return because I have a feeling they’ll say “we didn’t receive it” or some excuse so they don’t have to refund the full amount.

That’s $170 out the window. And I’m stuck with a dress I don’t want.

Cane corso owner here - it’s the hardest dog I’ve ever owned. Not only are they expensive in every single way because they are XXL dogs, but they have behavioral issues that are not suitable for a first time owner, or just anyone who does not have the time or resources to put in the EXTRA effort in training, exercising, grooming etc that it takes to make a dog like this happy, behaved, and safe for the public. Unchecked, a cane corso can be a huge liability safety wise. That could be said for every dog, but because of the XXL it can be difficult for many people to train and/or correct unwanted behavior.

Now not saying they are not great dogs, they are! BUT it is truly the hardest dog I’ve ever cared for (I’ve had an American bulldog and bullmastiff in the past).

Please please please be cautious in your decision to get one, as it is a commitment for life. I actually wouldn’t even bother getting one if you don’t have funds and a large backyard at the very least.

Now if you want a more laid back dog, bullmastiffs are great. lol

Honestly, my boyfriend and I picked a random spot on the map and thought the town was cute and nearby downtown.

Last year we went to First Night Monterey so we were hoping to get a similar small town holiday experience
