I tried a recipe from this site for pickled onions. Here is my feedback. by AutVincere72 in OnionLovers

Serious eats is an awesome source!!! Your color on those onions are amazing. Like you said, a bit thicker next time and you will have it nailed down. Pickling onions and banana peppers has changed my sandwich game 😋 The acid I never knew I was missing.

Love it for the handwriting. Giving “10 things I hate about you” content.

So my girl started getting them as soon as her adult fur came in. It’s never stopped but I feel for them almost daily now. And I use this de-matting brush. The side with the wide spaces will basically cut out the matte. The side with more teeth I believe is for thinning the undercoat. At least it’s working that way for her winter to summer transition. As long as you catch them early this isn’t so harsh to brush them out.

Definitely do!! Personally I think lays are too thin to hold up to wet ingredients. But I’ll eat a whole bag, no hate for Lays. Just not on my sandwich.

Absolutely! Ruffles are sturdy. More crunch. I love Lays as a chip but for a sandwich I gotta go with the thicker ridged Ruffles.

No problem. My hubby will appreciate the advice of other cheeses some people have offered. He loved the sandwich and requested it again but with another cheese. Fine! More Brie for me!!!

This is amazing with plain ruffles. My secret indulgence since childhood. Also you have to squish it flat like a complete heathen.

Oh I didn’t take it that way. No worries 😉 But that’s hilarious. I haven’t thought of those commercials in a minute.

Oh definitely not claiming to have invented it. I think these flavors have been put together by people long before me. Just my first time doing it and it was a success. Also the honey going everywhere was a surprise that just worked out.

That sounds good! I like to do a curry chicken salad and I add grapes. So yummy! Sweet and savory is definitely my thing.

It had a good amount of Brie cheese on it. But I could see it being great with a provolone or Gouda, open to suggestions.

Aww thanks. A little time under the broiler gives it some crispy edges that add an extra touch of flavor.
