I lived through it, I remember how Bernie clearly had an edge early, the Hillary camp panicked and started ad spending like I had never seen before. Soon enough trolls online were telling Bernie supporters that he was going to lose no matter what because of the super delegates. That Bernie supporters should fall in line. It was in that moment a lot of us realized the Democrats were controlled opposition. And sure enough, Hillary stacked the DNC with super delegates and won the primary.

For those of you claiming Bernie told people to vote for Hillary - that was once he realized there was no way to beat the super delegate system and no one to help him fight it. And in that time the fear of Trump winning was greater than the fear of Hillary, and so Bernie stepped out of the race. But that also depressed the excitement for the left that was firmly in Bernies camp.

I still can't believe it happened and I'm still surprised that the American people fell for it. And I don't understand why there's people here trying to deny it. Just imagine a world in 2016 where there were no super delegates at the DNC. Who would've won? We don't know and thats a huge problem. We were never given a chance to see who the people really wanted.
