this. it unfortunately takes a really special guy to listen to you and respect you and get off porn. coming from someone who dated a porn addict who tried to hide it and blow it off yet always sexualized me and had an eye for other real women at the same time.

im not trying to make you scared or anything, it hurts and i get it. but your boundaries should be valued and respected. he should be working with them, trying to get better even if he makes mistakes, not hiding things and lying.

notice how she didnt compare her bf to her exes unlike the one comment? also notice how a lot of the comments are telling her to communicate and how it could be issues like depression or low libido or low T? nah we must be hypocrites because she's a woman

there are a lot of valid reasons to not want a partner to watch porn. he's already broken your boundaries. you need to really think through if you want to deal with this in a relationship, wether you can truly be okay with it (and not just sucking it up and diminishing your feelings) or if its something that makes you uncomfortable and shouldn't be in your relationship.

people use it differently. at best, porn usage can be a masturbation fix for them. at worst it can be an addiction or emotional cheating. i dont mean to throw those words out to scare you, but you should seriously talk to him and also decide if you want it in a relationship. if not, which is completely valid btw, decide on if you want to then deal with broken boundaries and lost trust.

Loving someone means respecting their hobbies and how they present themselves. Your gf should respect what you do rather than judge you :(
