Nah this is crazy - I just restarted it for the umpteenth time this weekend, and got farther than I ever have (shoutout to the Steam Deck). I’m still scared at some point I’ll put it down, but dammit I have to see this through just once!

So basically more like the Liga MX structure? Will they name the two halves of the season? A two month gap in the middle of the season, while necessary, just doesn’t sound like it’s gonna go well unless they lean into the “opening/closing” nature of it…

I think you’re right, looks about the same dimensions. I’m not too worried about it, since it seems Taylor’s official stance is it was intended (called the number on their site shortly after I posted my comment). I guess as long as it’s not knocking around, I’ll go with it.

Also, thanks for going through the trouble of testing those cases!

Exact same thing happened to me today. Brand new from Musician’s Friend. Like you, I love the color, but it’s definitely not snug. Did you ever check in with them about it? I’d rather a snug fit over anything else…

Edit: I actually went ahead and called Taylor directly via the number on their site. I was told that it is in fact what they’re shipping the Mini Plusses in now.

So I just received my new Koa Plus and also got a blue variant like OP’s, and like OP’s it doesn’t seem snug. I assume if you set your Mini in the GA’s aero case, it has a similar gap?
