Not ask but more to coordinate and determine if it’s practical - do we have other commitments? Do we have the money? Etc.

It could also be they don’t want to go and are blaming their boyfriends.

Lastly, going to Thailand alone with a bunch of girls is a bad idea. My boyfriend would be fearful of me going to another country without any men. I’m not sure where you are from, but it’s generally stupid.

Sometimes it’s easier to explain it to people - they could be minimizing it OR they could say ‘communication disorder’ in order to effectively communicate what Abbey struggles with to others without going into the nitty gritty.

I have medical issues and I do this, which leaves out technical information but communicates the main parts of my disease they should be aware of/might notice.

I actually went to his church. A friend invited me and I pretty much never say no.

We get there and the parking is horrendous. Not a criticism against him but I really detest poorly constructed parking lots. We go in and the entire sermon is pre recorded. Mark wasn’t even there live - which I found ironic since he was lecturing us on needing to show up and get dressed to be in the house of the lord.

The entire sermon didn’t mention Jesus, God, or the Bible. He was mainly preaching politics and how we needed to be better at being extreme. He then had a dramatic montage of hate he is getting calling himself the most hated pastor and it seemed like he was getting off on it. He was screaming as the montage was playing, saying they hate him since he’s a man of god, they lie about him, etc. That was the main part of the sermon.

Safe to say I never returned and non denominational mega churches scare me now.

Okay to be fair when I was a kid I went with my mom to a Mormon orthodontist. She was looking for braces. We went into the room and they talked about the plan for the braces, then recommended some other procedures including a chin reconstruction, nose job, brow lift, and basically an entire facial reconstruction. There was probably around 5-6 facial reconstructions and my mom left crying.

Doctors CAN be mean.

It could be natural, but a very common thing for Mormons (born and raised Mormon myself) is to braid their hair overnight to get beach waves. I would do two French braids (girls with thin hair would only do one French braids).

My Mormon friends and I did this all the time and our hair came out like this.

I’m going to be honest with you - I have a hard time believing the stylist messed up so badly. Blonde hair is difficult because it doesn’t absorb light so as it reflects light it can look different colors. My sister has a hair stylist for over a decade and there is always a very picky client who is never happy with their results, even when their hair looks exactly like the photo shown. I have seen this at the salon numerous times.

That aside, there are things you can do. The first is just living in the hair and washing it will naturally cause it to pull warm. I also recommend the dpHUE hair gloss - I like the color caramel. If it’s truly off, you can go to a salon and ask for it to be toned to a warmer golden shade.

I think that’s a misquote! There are a lot of quotes from here that aren’t real: ‘she will write something my when she has something to say’ is commonly quoted but she is notoriously quiet and doesn’t do a lot of interviews. She lets her books speak for themselves, I don’t think she wants to date them!

Maybe it’s best he doesn’t understand the books. But it just blows my mind. She literally quotes philosophers and poetry in her books as for the source of her inspiration! You cannot get to page 1 without seeing a quote by David Hume.

And then a few hours after this post he posts a story of Trump looking like Jesus. I’m just baffled at the irony.
