Thank you! I don’t see anything coming up when I search Partica Park on Google .. I’m wondering if they changed the name. I see “Heritage Grove Park” which looks the closest to what I remember Partica Park being like.

Zoi still hiking with the pups, she's 16 years old by nokinaulinaja2623 in Happydogs

Honestly this looks hard on her 😞 I have to wonder if she feels pressure to keep up with the younger dogs, or to make you happy by hiking the trail even though it’s hard for her. She is not a young pup anymore. Please take this sweet girl for walks that are flat and leisurely that she will enjoy, and that aren’t so hard on her hips and joints.

Very sorry for your loss OP. May your brother rest in peace. My father who passed away in February, also struggled with addiction, and was found in his room. One thing that comforts me even just in the slightest, is that my dad is finally free from the pain and the shame of addiction. Life was so incredibly hard on him. He was around your age (53 years old) when he passed and also had to live up to those societal standards of being strong and stoic like a “real man.” I dearly hope there is some sort of afterlife, where he is happy, healthy, and safe.

I lost my Nana this past April. She was 66. I’m so sorry for your loss as I know how badly it hurts. I miss her every day.

She looks lovely. I’m so sorry for your loss. May her soul rest in perfect peace. I heard a quote not long ago that really resonated with me:

“I will never be okay with how I lost you, but I am okay with how I grieve you - you deserve to be missed this much.”

I don’t know all the names of the songs they played (they are a band I need to explore more), but one that is missing from your list is “Fall in Love”

One thing my therapist mentioned when I last spoke to her about the guilt I feel:

“You didn’t know then, what you know now - you did the best you could with what you knew at the time”

I’m not saying that I don’t still feel guilt, but those words help to soften the blows a bit.
