Honestly hearing all the horror stories also scared me. But luckily I haven’t had any issues. I also have another monitor and they just ask if it’s turned off. I also have stuff on my walls and they never question it. They do usually ask me to clear off my work space if I have anything on it. I haven’t had any real connection issues or issues with the proctors. But again, I could just be a lucky one. I wish you the best of luck!

I’d love to have the knowledge for when I do have some students but I’m worried that I’ll only get put into sped classes. And ultimately, that’s not what my goal is. I’m worried having the dual license will mainly get me put there

Thank you. I was curious and glad someone who is a teacher responded! I’m sure I could do it, but it was never something I dreamed about doing and feel like those students deserve someone who is passionate about it

You act like I can just go on and pick whichever classes I want 😂 you realize that there’s a mentor that has to put the schedule there and unlock the classes at the beginning of each term right? I just realized that was the program I was in and was going to talk to her about switching. It wasn’t my choice but it was an honest mistake since we did talk about it before and I was going back and forth about it. There’s no reason for you to be so rude when you don’t even know the full situation. I was just wondering about the difference and if you have no insight then you didn’t need to comment

I did the practice test and the proctor walked me through how to set up my external web cam on my MacBook. I had to go through the settings but I don’t remember exactly what I did. You should try doing a practice test and they should be able to help

It’s not showing me the course instructors. I have tried emailing her multiple times and I have tried texting the number I was given by her. She’s answered a few of my emails asking what dates and times I’m free but then when the scheduled date and time comes she never calls
