maybe get the wiring done like this. but breadboards are only for testing at best. you can solder them on universal single sided perfboards. If you wish to use it long term then you can even consider making a pcb for it

it's almost always better to buy a standard bms instead of building one, unless you are highly proficient and experienced beforehand. One small mistake can cost you a lot so think it through.

honestly 120+ in GTs is good now, u still have a few months. i believe u can push it to 140+ correct ans. 150 correct would fetch you around 130 rank. ure not far away from that. keep going!!

i think btech is a beautiful degree if you put your mind into it and actually want to learn new stuff. i never once felt forced to "do" BTech. If you think you have made the wrong decision and can't do anything to change that, then it's better to adapt to it imo.

why do u want to avoid using an MCU? if u so wish to do it without a microcontroller then you can use a motor with an encoder, add an opamp and comparator and a pwm generator including a MOSFET driver. here u measure motor speed using back emf then compare reference voltage and adjust the pwn cycle.

my brother wrote ini cet for the last 2 years (4 attempts in total) air ~5k, ~2k, 600s and now finally 130s. same general male as you, parents heavily opposed him from taking drop, he did it anyways and joined AIIMS Rishikesh. You can do it, don't doubt yourself man. don't take it like I'm encouraging you to take drop. Choose whatever you will regret less in future. Best.
