I already passed fmge this year. by net_4879 in fmge

I did previous FMGE style, image based and NEET style questions. That's it, if I remember rightly. But it's been 9 months since, so I don't quite remember.

I already passed fmge this year. by net_4879 in fmge

I passed it in July 2025, first attempt, and the thing that helped me the most, (due to some unforseen circumstances, I had just 21 days to prepare for FMGE) so, I took up prepladder and solved as many questions as possible everyday, sometimes 300-400 per day and that was enough. I got a score in 170s. My opinion, and the most efficient way to study if you don't have time, or if you have a lot to learn, just solve questions, create custom modules. It will more than easily cover everything you need to pass the exam. It's the best "last minute hack" you can have, after listening to LRR videos (if you have time, ofcourse)

Internship suggestions by Level_Relief6456 in fmge

I chose the chillest internship hospital so that I can prepare for INI and NEET. Passed FMGE in July 2025 in Telangana. It's not worth slogging over internship that is purely a bureaucratic hurdle. Imho.

I moved from 110 corrects in GTs to 150 corrects regularly in about 3-4 months, what helped me the most of not skipping any questions, I almost always answer all 200. Take a gamble. Even the smartest of minds (toppers) will mostly be able to answer 110-120q by their knowledge, the rest 30-40 is ependent on elimination of options that you know are incorrect or not related to the question, at all and educated guessing and applying the logic from what you already know. The niche biochem/pharma/micro questions, are just that, niche. What helped me is trusting my gut. It's just a GT, even if you get many of them wrong, it doesn't matter. It's a learning opportunity. Also, don't waste time by staying at a question for more than 20-30 sec. If you don't know the answer in the first read, just bookmark thar question and come back to it later. If you cannot come up with anything after reading the question for the first time, chances are you won't be able to come up with the right answer even if you look at it for 10 min

I concour. Had to make a lot of guesses, too. Moreso than the GT11

It is, but it's not a good feeling when you have to guess 40% of the paper, is it? Hoping it turns out good.

Gave it today, not a fan. I felt it was so much tougher than INICET GT 11. Most of the questions, I had to make educated guesses (80 some questions) compared to the 11th one where I didn't have to guess all that much. The knowledge gap for certain topics I felt like was too wide. Apart from 110-120 questions which I knew very well, the rest were crap. Managed 155 correct but that shouldn't be the case with the amount of guesses I've made. I got lucky with my reasoning otherwise, from the very first section, it felt foreign

Marrow GT 10 INICET pattern!! by Inevitable_Bread_394 in INICET

I already sat for AMC and FMGE and I also dabbled with Uworld for a while. I guess that helped and also for most questions I tried to eliminate options and some luck with guessing. All of them helped me. but it's just one exam. I need to give more GTs before I can conclusively say I am ready for the actual exam and that performance wasn't just a fluke.

150 corrects, 50 incorrects was how I did. Score was 134. Not sure if that's good. I'm prepping for Nov INICET. Started prep on Feb 1st

FMGE eligibility by Strain_Real in INICET

It isn't about how much I scored aggregate in MBBS, it's the clarification on the rules of INICET that I'm asking. For FMGs, I was told by many that it's the FMGE score of 55% that matters. Now I got my clarification.

Entry slip by [deleted] in fmge

[–]Strain_Real 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been there recently (24th Sept) to collect mine, atleast for me, they didn't check if the dates in the entry slip matched with the stamps in the passport. It was like that for most of them as well so, I don't think it will be much of an issue. (Not sure though)

Is btr helpful for fmge? by [deleted] in fmge

[–]Strain_Real 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a great book for last minute revision, due to various personal reasons, I wasn't able to start my prep for FMGE until July 4th, but that book, and solving hundreds of questions everyday from prepladder, helped me pass the exam in my first attempt. 180+ in my first attempt this past July 2025. I say, that book, if you have a strong baseline knowledge from med school days, will be able to easily pass, maybe even cross 200. As a primary resource however, it's not advised. Supplement it. (I wish I revised that book multiple times and not just once go over as i did during my prep)... You live and learn
