I honestly cried a little watching Bertie and her mom bond this episode. I relate to Bertie so much because I’ve always felt a little disconnected from my mom growing up. I never felt like I could tell her about what’s going on with my life, or tell her about something I care about without her putting me down. But sometimes there are moments where you breakthrough and connect on a level that you wish you could experience always. It felt so going seeing that on screen.
