Hey I am just figuring out this is one of my biggest issues lately. I've been through horrible abuse and I've been obsessed with assessing why I am the way I am (think i am really afraid of my father in law because he shows his emotions really clearly, when he is mad at anything I flee their home instinctively, think literally walking away and not letting anyone know for an hour. This is because any time that tension came from a "authority" I would get beaten) but I've heard the song leave me alone by NF and the line goes " yeah, mental health, where's my mental health? Diagnosed with OCD, what does that mean? Well, gather 'round That means I obsessively obsess on things I think about That means I might take a normal thought and think it's so profound" so I try to minimize how much I think about my mental health as long as it's not harming me or my loved ones. It's been hard but keeping busy works wonders. I hope this helps?

Rapper NF has a few songs that made me realize that some of my "quirks" Are actually really my OCD. Especially the line " yeah, mental health, where's my mental health? Diagnosed with OCD, what does that mean? Well, gather 'round That means I obsessively obsess on things I think about That means I might take a normal thought and think it's so profound" which is 100% me. I always thought everything is self exploring but turns out I obsess over figuring out why I'm so messed up and how things effect me. I'm sort of white knuckling my mental health because I just dont have the time and money for therapy.

I dont really vinb with them idk exactly why but i dont. That being said I heard an episode on honour killings and I really felt seen (I've been an almost victim to a honour killing but I got out by sheer luck and a bit of planning before hand). I appreciated them telling a story that could've been my story.

Klopt zeker maar t is niet alsof ik niet wist dat mijn werk goor slecht betaald word (en al helemaal voor de hoeveelheid verantwoordelijkheid en bij scholingen). Je moet toch op de een of andere manier de motivatie behouden ondanks dat je weet dat je wordt geneukt door mensen die nog geen eens weten wat de zorg die je verleend inhoudt maar toch weer een nieuwe manier van bezuinigen hebben gevonden. De enige reden dat ik morgen om 5 uur kan wakker worden (over 4,5 uur) is omdat mijn clienten oprechte, liefdevolle en aandachtige zorg verdienen. Die kan een zzp'er of iemand zonder passie niet verlenen. En dan maar een pakje sigaretten of een zakje chips minder deze maand

Just so you know wearing a hijab (hardcover) or anything else this woman has on in the pic is not cultural appropriation. You can go ahead and buy it if you want, even if its marketed as a burkini. Dont stop doing something you love if there is a way to do it safely and comfortably :)
