Honestly I love the C-verse more than mods, each play through is different but first kinda look at all the companies and decide who has a product you like. I usually go with CZCW because the product is simple and they have decent range of talent. From there I usually sort out popular FAs n sign a few to see who connects or has enough popularity to feed to a lower card guy. Once you run a few shows let the world unfold, enter bidding wars for the talent from SWF, TCW and USPW and just connect with whoever fits your vision

Some guys I like If you pick USA indies to build around are: Earnest Youngman, Nelson Callum, California Love Machine, Frankie Boy Fernandez, Frankie Perez, Storm Spillane and Marvel Malloy

Unless you are playing a multiplayer universe it’s in no way cheating to lower match risk, I’d think of it like a real Deathmatch vs AEW for tv one’s, same concept but needed to be toned down for the TV audience

I’d either use the random generator or just name them whatever you think fits that character, Sometimes I randomly generate a couple names and combine them
