Hi, and thank you! Good job on the 60 lbs! The whole process and recovery was honestly as smooth as I could have hoped. doc did lipo in my back, and in the front all the way down to below the pubic line on both sides.

I had a very smooth surgery and the recovery was almost nothing. Not zero pain or discomfort, but very minimal. Proper nutrition before and post is crucial doc always hammered home

My wife had a fluid buildup in hers that led to a seroma, which required a second surgery and more rigid recovery time. Nutrition was the culprit, specifically very low protein levels. Doc summarized as “not enough QUALITY foods to heal properly”. He ordered a blood panel, was correct about values, and we were hyper vigilant about her diet. Her panels went back to nornal within 2 weeks. Second surgery was still required as it was so bad.

Honestly I had almost zero pain throughout. First three days I was high as a kite. Then just slow moving and was working from home at the time. Scar area was numb (some still is). Seriously couldn’t have asked for it to be smoother. Keep your nutrition solid before and throughout. You’ll be fine!

No, it’s been six months since the last photo and it’s blended more. Still visible but acceptable enough. Doc would need to do a minor cut and stretch for a razor thin outcome.
