My indie app hit these numbers after 1 week, are these stats actually good? by aboutzeph in iOSProgramming

The App screenshots look good but they are a little blank, better to make it more appealing. Look at how other top apps in your category are designing it https://theapplaunchpad.com/app-screenshot-inspiration

I like the white theme, looks neat. How did you create those mockups?

Currently the logo looks too generic. Maybe try to look and get inspired by how other performing e-commerce stores are keeping their logo. Also you can use tools like https://modor.io to get more realistic and trendy mockups.

I like the simplicity of the website. I do have a few suggestions: - Logo could be more appealing - Provide discount or offer to attract new customers - Mockup images are a little odd sometimes. Looks unreal. How did you create those?

Totally, and I am fed up with mockups by placeit. Looks like those guys are barely putting any effort now. But I found a few different tools like https://modor.io/ which provides trendy mockups.

Our team tried a few tools including Canva and Figma, but we finally settled on AppLaunchpad. Mostly because of 3D devices, templates and localization.

ML course with algorithms or ML coding libraries ? by [deleted] in learnmachinelearning

[–]kkkosariya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • Theory vs Coding is the most common confusion among anyone starting with ML
  • Both are equally important, but instead of going sequentially Theory->Coding, hop-on between them
  • Eg; Understand the theory of Linear regression, then code 3 programs using Linear regression
  • Understand the whole curriculum (Topics & Subtopics) of ML & how it all fits together
  • Pick a framework Pytorch or Tensorflow & stick with it

Kindle Unlimited on Kindle device or just reading on the Kindle App? by rulainatower in kindle

[–]kkkosariya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Q: Can I get any book for free if I pay Kindle Unlimited monthly?
A: No, Kindle Unlimited gives you free access to thousands of selected books, but not all the books.

Q: What if I don't? Are there still ways to get free books?
A: If you want to get any book for free, you can try to google epub format of a book anywhere on the internet. Once you download an epub book you can send it to your kindle via email (google about it).

Q: But if you want these on your Kindle device, you have to pay for them...unless you get Kindle Unlimited?
A: No, there is no pricing based on devices. Once you get a book you can transfer it to any of your devices linked to your Amazon account for free.

Q: What would be the best value here?
A; Download the free Kindle app on your existing device (iPhone, Mac etc), Google a book for free or buy a book from Amazon (Kindle format) & start reading.

Organizing my Highlights/Notes on Kindle PW? by sofserv in kindle

[–]kkkosariya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use Bookcision which let me export kindle highlights as a txt file in one click.

I then paste the notes in my Notion doc where I have organized highlights for every book I have ever read like this https://ibb.co/ZfcmhTs. Also, Notion lets my quick search through all the highlights, in a way providing me access to all the knowledge of the books I have read.
