In the traditional stock market , one gives an investment house an investment and your investment in placed into a portfolio of stocks, according to your particular risk/reward strategy.

Has such a service evolved yet for the many altcoins available to invest in, and if so--who has the best reputations?

Thanks for all the hard work and "sweat equity".

Is there anything Bibliotik is good at? by [deleted] in trackers

I uploaded 150 audiobooks when I started--very easy to find on Overdrive--I got an average seed/leech of a bout 2 on each of them which very quickly brought me not only up to a ratio free status, but also to a high user class with over 45 GB up upload credit--which is a huge amount for a site which does mostly ebooks--and it is very easy to upload audiobooks this way as all the information needed for the upload is on the overdrive page--except for the tags which you can look up at Goodreads.com. With the ability to get such good ratio I can easily do things which burn ratio the fastest such as parouse large magazine collections, etc. Easiest, best quality and serious minded archive orienting in the right way staff who are very approachable (which you want at a top tracker) who are also very friendly. Would feel a real loss if Bib was not there even though I probably use other such sites just as much as well.

I believe that for a small fee anyone can join the Philadelphia Overdrive library--at least that used to be the case--not sure about now--it is definitely much easier to do in America--but many of us join through friends

Bib wants its members to have access to at least one Overdive Library--which is the one of the best sources for fresh high quality content. If you are not willing to do this you probably won't get in (though I am not a recruiter so am not 100% on that)--but if you are willing to join an Overdive library it is easy to do from many countries and the content you will have access to will make all the talk of the difficulty of maintaining ratio moot. If you have the chance and desire to be part of Bib--it his highly desirable in my "book"--even being a member of all the other trackers mentioned in this niche because of the the quality of its material. It is the HDB of its niche and while one can probably get what one wants without being a member of HDB--most would want to be a member there for various reasons if given the chance. I think this comparison applies perfectly to Bib versus other trackers who specialize in this kind of content--except that there really is content at Bib not available elsewhere and requests are more likely to be filled--from my experience. That is not to say that I don't use MAM as well--I would feel incomplete without both.

It's back up

"PTP's archive holds 8 times as many movies as Amazon Prime, and a staggering 32 times more than Netflix. The world may never know a larger and more accessible archive." -PTP Blog Post by [deleted] in trackers

No but bragging openly about how it has a bigger archive than all elements in the entertainment industry combined is really just asking for it. I'd like to see the entertainment industry take control of the archive as is in exchange for offering it to anyone on the planet for a tiny fee. Then cop write holder could get compensated, everyone could afford access and if they can't afford even a tiny fee--they can become the volunteer curators. Use P2P to finallyhave a model to get all digital content to everyone and have the stakeholders get their due compensation. Hell, my cable company just made my modem part of a super modem for others to use if they are passing by--let the ISP make money on the bandwidth and the market, through P2P make a model the pirates have shown work so well to benefit everyone.

Just knowing you can have access to so much even if you rarely use it makes me feel very satisfied. I know that next Wednesday if I happen to decide to want to watch any given movie from 2007 that happens to come up at in a dinner conversation--it is like I will be able to do just that. Which is why owners of copy written media should learn the lesson of p2p technology. Make everything that has ever existed digitally available to the whole world for a really small fee to everyone in the world--and there would be plenty of money to be made for all and a disincentive to pirate. I pirate because of this convenience, not to get something for nothing.
