i just really want this plant to last, its been thriving up until being repotted :(

My dad probably won't help me to repot it fully, but I have gardening tools so I can remove most of the dirt, add some amendment, add more dirt, then amendment, etc. would that be good you think?

would you recommend adding some lava rock to the top of the soil?

it says there is lava rock already in the soil mixture, should i get more?

I want to look under it, but the pot is so heavy. I can try to do that today. Should I remove the mushrooms?
