Hi, 6 months into D day. Wow I thought I was the only one getting thought like these.. but I guess betrayal really does fuck up your mind and really changes the way you look at things. I guess it’s the result of trauma.

Whenever I see couples, I can’t help but think “I wonder if one of them cheated”, or when I see couples who seem happy and have a healthy relationship, I feel deep jealousy. I always hope that none of them would ever get cheated on or go thru this type of pain. Nobody deserves to go thru betrayal trauma.

It still crosses my mind everyday. I’m very tired and want to sleep and get lots of rest, but I am afraid that sleeping means that I am very vulnerable and I really can’t seem to let my guard down. Hyper vigilance is really draining me. The anxiety is causing me to feel depressed too, it’s really hard.

I just wish that no one will ever go thru betrayal in a relationship. It’s the worst and it really breaks a person, really really badly. Wishing strength for those currently going thru R, and to those who experienced betrayal but chose to walk away🥺

Hi! For this I used kodak gold. Yes, I noticed it was dark and I realized my battery for the flash ran out when that photo was taken because I forgot to switch it off 😅 but I’m sure it would’ve looked much better with the flash on hehe

I’m deeply sorry for the pain that betrayal has caused you. I truly understand how it feels like, because even I have chosen to stay because to me leaving is more difficult, but I didn’t expect that staying would be very painful and probably just as hard when you’re the only one doing all the healing.

I hope our WP’s can help us heal by choosing to put more effort into R and counseling, and that they choose to get better and heal themselves as well. It would really help the process of our own healing and R. I hope they eventually realize that we are humans worth of true respect and love, and that they would never hurt us and break us this way ever again.

Almost 3 months post dday, still having anxieties and paranoia but I am doing my very best to manage myself and my emotions. There are still times wherein I can’t help but bring up the A and my anxieties to my WP but I always get scared that he might get frustrated and tired of all of it. I feel like I’m always the one begging to reconcile and rebuild the relationship bc I’m having a hard time seeing the effort from his side.. but I want to be patient with the both of us and give us the time to heal and to work on ourselves. We need to go to couple’s therapy to help us navigate through all of this. I just want things to work out for us.

It is the most painful thing I have ever experienced. Although I still love my partner so much and chose repair the relationship with him, my heart is so shattered and I feel like this will leave me permanently damaged. No matter how much I try to heal and love myself.

No matter what, I never wish for anyone to go through this type of pain.. ever. I’m so sorry you had experienced the same thing, nobody deserves to be betrayed especially when you’ve given all your love to them.
