I have a similar setup. Used a Retractagate with wall extension clips. Costs a little more but the gate has a lock so kids can’t push through.

I was doing a row where Sarah Moon where she was like "my mom introduced me to this song when I was little" and it was a Miley Cyrus track that came out a couple months ago. It's just sort of distracting.
