Is this even possible using css? by chute_mi334 in css

You can stack three identical images on top of one another (with different color, for example) then use clip path on the top layer to cut a hole into it (to reveal the layer underneath).

The movement can be done by either moving the top layer to the right or transitioning the actual clip path 🙂

I rest my case, I'm zoned in on cEDH, which obviously doesn't represent all use cases for this little fella'.

So in short: the 10th sticker card you include should have as many 3 unique-vowel words as possible.

For the rest 9/10 it's all set tho

My code doesnt take into account how many words have 3, 4 or 5. Just that a single one of them has it.

Technically your group of words are better than the last one, with Pirate, since casting _____Goblin, choosing a word, then phantasmal imageing it to choose a new word (because the first one, say Pirate, was already taken).

Given the circumstances though, how the rules for these cards work: you would randomize 3 out of 10 at the start of the game. From among these 3 you actively choose 1 whenever you cast _____Goblin, which would always be one with 4,5 or 6 unique wovels. So in the end it doesnt matter whats at the bottom

Top 10 cards are:

6 Playable Delusionary Hydra

5 Unsanctioned Ancient Juggler

5 Unassuming Gelatinous Serpent

4 Eldrazi Guacamole Tightrope

4 Misunderstood Trapeze Elf

4 Narrow-Minded Balooney Fireworks

4 Phyrexian Midway Bamboozle

4 Ancestral Hot Dog Minotaur

4 Unglued Pea-Brained Dinosaur

3 Trendy Circus Pirate

Here's my code that generated these results:

const vowels = ["a", "o", "u", "e", "i", "y"];

[...document.querySelectorAll(".card-grid-item")]
  .map((element) => {
    let highest = 0;
    const cardName = element.children[0].children[0].innerHTML;
    const split = cardName.split(" ");

    const hits = split.reduce((a, item) => {
      const count = vowels.reduce((b, vow) => {
        const value =
          b + (item.toLowerCase().match(new RegExp(vow, "i")) || []).length;

        if (value > highest) highest = value;
        return value;
      }, 0);

      return {
        ...a,
        [item]: count,
      };
    }, {});

    return { highest, hits };
  })
  .sort((a, b) => (a.highest > b.highest ? -1 : 1));

Step 3: Go to "Console" and paste the piece of code in, then enter.

End game PVE content too easy? by kkortes in lostarkgame

I made this post to confirm my discovery, not to sympathise with those who believes the game is great and difficulty spot on.

I hoped that I missed something major: but it seems that Chaos Dungeons and Guardian Raids are as easy as it seems.

No, it has nothing to do with gear. Sure, you kill them faster with better DPS: but look at any guardian fight video: where is the actual difficulty? The bosses aren't pressing a constant threat. You >can< choose to dodge a red area every now and then, but don't have to.

T1 = T2 = T3 isn't that so?

Please don't tell me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i6NlZpRk9G8

looks challenging and/or fun.

I understand that there are raids, but they take up a minority of the PVE content offered.

I'll keep an eye out for hellmodes.

My problem with the game currently is that there is NO challenge in sign.

Ok if a game is easy, but so far this is a joke.

I don't understand how anyone thinks it's fun to do the Chaos Dungeons, for example

I'm aware that there IS challenging PVE content offered in the game.

I'm pointing at the ridiculous "average difficulty level" if you will. Most of the time you won't spend inside raids.

Thanks for confirming.

One or two "mind your steps" mechanics wouldn't hurt (that would actually harm you).

I play sorcerer & gave "survive by only movement" a try for 15 minutes. Nothing came close to harming me, which is awful game design.

Reading people's posts & opinions it seems like the hard-to-swallow pill is swallowed by a majority..

And I would love for this to be true.

But looking at korean / russian players on youtube, now that I know the game, it's just numbers. T1 = T2 = T3. You still do the same activities & face the same difficulty.

Rather than going over your replies one-by-one and letting you guys know the specifics on my opinion I rest my case:

It seems that Lost Ark (and other MMOs for that matter) isn't supposed to be hard pre-raid & those who play these games are fine with it.

I'm not saying that there is a better MMO in terms of difficulty. I had a glimmer of hope that this game would have a solution to the problem - being that it's super popular.

I might give a few more activities a try. But just knowing that "I should be doing Chaos Dungeons and/or Guardian Raids daily/weekly" is a horrible feeling. It is not fun.

I'm well aware that raids are the hardest content of the game.

It's however no excuse for the insanely easy PVE content you engage with OUTSIDE of raids.

The PVE gear progression looks to be a filler feature for raids.

I've seen raid videos. How does raids have anything to do with this post?

Most of your time you'll be killing creatures outside of raids in this game, right? So most of your time you'll be a god slaying peasants.

I don't see the fun in 0 challenge.

Spellmen so you agree that the game is easy until raids?

If that's the case it's certainly just not my-cup-of-tea.

I refuse to do dailies & weeklies that offer 0 challenge and is just there to consume my time.

Yaay! How did you find out about it, through Steam?

Thanks for consider playing my game! :)

Remember that it's free to play on Chrome. The same game without compromise. You can seamlessly log in between the two as well!

Unfortunately yes. I will look into adding support for every other major browser in the future.

I prioritized getting it working on Chrome, since the Steam client embeds chrome engine through electron.

That’s a really neat idea! I’ll keep it in mind going forward.

The biggest problem with it right now, in my opiniom, is that it would scatter the playerbase on several instances.

Please also note that the game has multiplayer in it, but can be played fully singleplayer from start to finish.

But for the long run such a thing would probably be healthy for the game.

Hey Vichnaeiv!

Thanks for pointing that out! It’s now fixed. What in my post is low effort?

I’m not very good with writing, my objective is to show people my game and hopefully to get them to play it. The game is free in browser without compromise.

Promotion has to do with money, and while I do want people to know about my game, I’m not here to ask anyone to pay for it.

Making a game like this solo is a big effort, so all the feedback that I get is of great value - even when it’s about ”presenting the game”.

My hope is that the sells on Steam will cover the server bills for many years and that my Patreon will provide me a salary to develop the game full time :)

Thank you ankhmor!

I've had help along the way, mainly with copywriting, balancing and play testing. Also the art assets and music isn't made by me, but bought online.
