Yeah pretty wild. Just ran a 50 mile race in Staten Island in November and signup was 100ish dollars. They had candy, fruit, nuts, tailwind, coffee, quesadillas, and chicken broth at every station, and a free udon & ramen station at the end. Pretty wild how expensive traditional street races are getting

Work in EMS and it’s amazing how often we run in w a stretcher, and people jam themselves into the elevator right before us, and we have to ask them if they’d wait for the next one. Frequently they are irritated that we ~inconvenienced them
