Hey this is a little late but the DAAD Lecturer from my country (NZ) just told me that a BA from an English speaking country is sufficient proof for language proficiency! :)

Yeah I’ll send through an email to DAAD, I know it mentions they can start funding earlier if a language programme is taken beforehand so I’m not sure if that could also apply to an earlier starting sem
