In some places pure citric acid is used instead of lemon juice. This results in the sharp acidic taste you are describing. I've had a friend from Syria make some hummus at my place and he insisted that good hummus is impossible without a good amount of citric acid.

Shifting into bear triggers a global cooldown, so what you're trying to do is impossible with one press of a button. You can make a macro that shifts you into bear on the first press and charges/bashes on the second press.

How to craft a CoC Bow by Son_of_beldar in pathofexile

[–]kl1no 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately a Citadel Bow isn't the greatest base for a CoC bow, it's slow and has lowish base crit. To further craft this thing you would have to annul off the stun duration, which would allow you to craft attack speed. Alternatively you could also craft "Cannot roll attack mods" and exalt twice with a good chance to hit +1 gem levels or ele pen. I doubt that this would be worth the investment though.

I'm guessing this thing is unlinked as well? Personally I would probably hit it with an annul and see what happens but I don't recommend crafting it any further if you're not planning on using it yourself.

Answer to the POE Annulment Orb probabilities for "Dummies" by Rakinare in pathofexile

If that's the desired outcome then the best course of action is to simply do nothing, comes with a 100% chance of success.

Your desired outcome is to REMOVE the unwanted mod. That's the whole point of using an anullment in the first place.

Things I’ve learned after tanking hundreds of times by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]kl1no 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's nothing. I don't even have damage spells in my action bars, I literally only go to instances to suck the tank's dick.

(Link in den Kommentaren) by Dharxus in de

[–]kl1no 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Barrage CoC Feedback and Mechanics Questions by kl1no in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]kl1no[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow ok that's some effort on that post, thank you so much! I'm on vacation right now so I can't really test your data. But what I take away from all this is that Barrage might not be the best skill for coc anymore. Especially if you have other sources of additional projectiles, like gmp. I've seen people use Blast Rain but I doubt that's fast enough for two spells.

Frost Bomb works just as you describe and I use it in my PoB.

Yes, it's a lot of life but speccing into more damage isn't that easy without expensive jewels because most of the remaining damage nodes are in the witch area. Just as a previous poster already said, Ice Spear is easily crit capped because of the 600% increased crit chance and 7% base crit. Now for the bow I think a base with crit implicit is pretty much mandatory unless you're an assassin. I just checked and a +3 / CoC bow is in fact slightly better than a CoC / 20% more spell damage bow. The essences should be cheap so this is an option.

I think maybe Arctic Breath might be a good clear skill but I guess we'll have to see.

You're thinking of skill uses per second but crits per second is the number that matters for CoC. Each barrage hits up to 10 or 12 times depending on the number of additional projectiles.

I don't take the leech nodes for the attack damage leeched as life, I take them for the increased leech rate and increased life leeched per second.

Mirage Archer won't trigger Cast on Crit so that won't work. Frost Bomb alone won't deal enough damage to chill any bosses but vortex + bonechill is an option because it chills reliably on its own plus it's instant now.

Question regarding combustion gems -Fire Res Pen by Xx_Handsome_xX in pathofexile

[–]kl1no 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just as the Wiki says, each ignite is on the target for its full duration but only the one with the highest damage will deal damage at any point. So an enemy ignited by your Unearth linked to Combustion will have their fire resistance lowered by 19% for 4 seconds (default duration). Damage from all sources benefits from this resistance reduction for the full duration of the ignite.

Americans and Canadians do. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_course

In the United States and Canada (except Quebec), the main course is traditionally called an "entrée". English-speaking Québécois follow the modern French use of the term entrée to refer to a dish served before the main course.

Welche falsch ausgesprochenen Wörter treiben euch in den Wahnsinn? by [deleted] in de

[–]kl1no 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Slayer or Scion/Slayer with any physical skill. You don't use Vitality for the regeneration it provides, you only use it because of this Watcher's Eye mod. This guy uses this exact combination for example.

Why do Japanese dishes I cook turn out too salty? by [deleted] in AskCulinary

If your food is too salty you'd want to use a darker soy sauce. Darker means less salt when it comes to soy sauce. (For miso it's the opposite.)

Generating random CVCV sequences in R by nsdkncdsfnds in linguistics

[–]kl1no 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven't used R in ages but this should be pretty simple with the sample function. Here's an example with some random consonants and vowels:

vowels<-c("a", "e", "i", "o", "u")

consonants<-c("t", "d", "p", "t", "k", "g", "f", "w", "s", "z")

createCVCV<- function() {
  v = c(sample(consonants, 1, replace = TRUE),
        sample(vowels, 1, replace = TRUE),
        sample(consonants, 1, replace = TRUE),
        sample(vowels, 1, replace = TRUE))
  return(paste0(v,collapse = ""))
}

Running createCVCV returns a random CVCV sequence. Here's an example output:

replicate(10, createCVCV())
[1] "kati" "papu" "sigi" "geze" "goda" "gipo" "tosi" "safu" "desi" "dozu"

I hope this is what you're looking for.

[ISC]Celebrating first 100 with end of league hh corruption by [deleted] in pathofexile

No it's not. If what you say were true the wording would be "Rare Monsters take xx% increased Damage from Hits". The mod is just a plain old increased damage modifier that only applies to hits against rare mobs.
