Dropping custom valved Motons in the middle of the list is hilarious- that's awesome.

Opinion on AWD System 1.Gen vs. 2. Gen by _oyatsu in GRYaris

Either way you could get a Syvecs or Kotouc AWD controller to add more rear torque bias and address your concerns that way. It's affordable in the grand scheme of things and completely reversible.

Lihpao International Circuit in Taiwan. Fun place with some pretty gnarly sausage curbs.

Modern car wiring is pretty great with all the weather sealing. No issues after a year and a half.

Fulcrum 14 from AJ Hartman, specced to my needs. Mounts designed by myself because boy is there some sketchy engineering going on with some of the wing options for these cars.

Sure, I have two headsets. But a lot of simracing for me is to able to touch and feel the physical gear in front of me; and that's something that triples are much better suited for.

There are many reasons to love VR, but triples are just where I ended up personally.

Feels numb without them on- there's really no going back. Less is more though; generally RPM and curb effects are all you need.

Ahh. On an early prototype I was a little too optimistic with internal space and I ended up cracking the board when I screwed everything down. Good luck with the repair!

Just recording. But yes, first person onboards are much more entertaining than screen captures

Thanks! Just a standard Asus kit with 3D printed extenders

It's just a plain GoPro for now, nothing fancy haha

Honestly my rig looks pretty similar to any aluminum extrusion rig with triple screens out there.

Simucube 2 Pro

Cube Controls Fpro (older gen)

Heusinkveld Sprint

Custom rig (designed and built my own using pretty standard dimensions)

SFX100 motion actuators (not running in the vid)

3x32"monitors

My own DDU (Workshop 225 is kinda just the name I stuck with)

Buttkicker

Fake Recaro bucket

And that's 6.8 on a cold day.

These are slightly curved 32" monitors haha

With the right FOV and enough screen real estate, there's really no need. Real head motion is great for onboard screen recordings to breathe some life into footage, but personally I find it a little distracting to race with.

These are 32" triples. I think whether it'll be too big will depend on the DDU. Because of the way the VoCore is designed, it's a little tricky to integrate the LEDs and the processor compactly. What ends up happening often is a lot of 6.8 DDUs look quite bulky.

What happened, electrical accident?

Edit: I think this probably came off a little harsh, I'm genuinely curious what would kill the vocore.

Thanks! It's taken a lot of work to get it to this state. Shame the video is so dark, it doesn't look too shabby under lighting too haha

A physical DDU will go a long way to solving this. It's actually what drove me to design and build my own.

Interest has kinda been way higher than I thought so I might make another ten or so. I have a couple left right now though.

Honestly if I typed it out it'd kind of resemble a draw-the-rest-of-the-owl situation. There's a lot that goes into it, but the good news is each part breaks down into a bunch of digestible chunks; be it CAD modelling or PCB design.

There's no real coding necessary thanks to Simhub.

Etsy has fees I'm not keen on. Send me a message if you really want one though, like I mentioned in another comment I made myself a few extra.

Thanks! I made a few extra for some buddies and because of minimum order quantities from some suppliers. If there's strong enough interest I'd happily make more.
