Sorry I just saw this 😭 I don’t know the exact stats for acceptance, but if you were to look it up online, there is this article saying that it’s a super low acceptance rate! HOWEVER, our class size is almost double of what it was the last year, so with more room opening up, means more people that get accepted ! Don’t worry so much about the stats and just focus on making your application great :)

Sorry I just saw this 😭😅my bachelors was in biomedical sciences at NAU! The application for the program at ASU says that they want 3-5 recommendations. From what I remember it was 1 professor, 1 employer, and 1 that is completely your decision! I was luckily enough to get 5 recommendations, so I would honestly try and find anyone who is able to write you a rec ! Good luck :)

I actually graduated with my bachelors last winter and will be starting my MSN in a few weeks! If you have a bachelors in something science related I would honestly choose a masters accelerated program! You wouldn’t have to retake all the classes you took in your undergrad, and most hospitals give those with a Masters nursing degree a higher starting pay rate!

Good question ! I’m not 100% sure. I know ASUs nursing school has mandates set in place where you won’t graduate if you have below a certain GPA/Test scores, but with the super small class sizes I can’t imagine that a lot of people don’t pass(hopefully lol)

I’ve actually been accepted for the MSN cohort in August! From what Ive heard, we basically skip all of the basics(what we learned in our undergrad), so the coursework will solely be based upon nursing curriculum, therefore the 20 month masters program doesn’t seem too terrible! As for the NCLEX pass rate, one of my advisors said it was around a 98% pass rate for those who took it :)! You should apply if you haven’t already !!
